Holiday Happenings in Landisville

The weather is getting cooler and just as you are getting your house and vehicle winterized, you may need to come up with a fun winter activity. To fight of the winter blues this holiday your S’more Space Storage family is prepared with a fun holiday happening.

Landis Valley Museum is hosting their Country Christmas Village this year on December 3rd and 4th. Your holiday spirits will be full and happy after strolling through the many decorated buildings. Take the history buff in your family to see the traditional winter Civil War camp. Enter a fully decorate museum and travel through time as you see how people celebrated in Christmases past. Kids will enjoy the holiday crafts and wagon ride around the perimeter of the museum.

Don’t miss the yummy holiday goodies in the Yellow Barn. This is a new part of the Country Christmas Village this year. There will be cider to sip on and popcorn to purchase while you listen to music and enjoy each others company. If you wander into the barn on Saturday you may get a chance to be apart of the performance with Ron Bellamy. On Sunday Robert Mouland returns to delight the guests with his dancing wood figures and holiday music.

Landis Valley once ad an operational post office and they are opening it again this year! Bring the kids so they can mail their letter to Santa letting him know exactly what they want this year. Kids will make the perfectly crafted letter to Santa at the museum and be able to mail it right from there.
